Hourly walking distance not adding up to total walking distance

Why is it that when I add up my hourly walking distances, it is always at least a mile less than what it says my total distance is for the day? For instance, when I went through and added each hour I got 1.89 miles but my total said 3.29. I know I didn’t walk more than two miles today.

I have a Charge 4 and sync it up to my iPhone.
