My grandson borrowed my Fitbit Charge 3 yesterday and now the screen shows very faintly, is there some way of brightening the screen?

From clock face, swipe left until get to 'Settings'; tap that; at the top is 'Brightness': dim, normal, or auto. I use auto to have it adjust with light sensor.

I have the brightness on the highest level but it is impossible to see the screen when outside. Is there something that can be done to correct this?

I have the exact same problem. I hit the auto and my screen went blank.

I have set mine on both auto and normal but it is still i.possi le to read in the sunlight. Ha e to go under a tree to see it. Also the screen time is too short to try to squint at and than it goes out. Can screen time be increase lime the versa? I know it will impact battery life but its no good if I cant read it while on a walk. I ha e heart issues and I need to keep my heart rate under my peak.

I did finally get to settings only by guessing. The problem is when it has gone to dim (on its own), you can barely read any of the screens!! There should be a better way to brighten by way of your Smartphone.

So then it is finished? I cannot see my screen at all

A bright screen can suck a lot of energy out of a touchscreen Fitbit (such as a Versa, Charge 3, or Ionic). On your device's screen, swipe left until you find “Settings.” Select that. Scroll to “Brightness.” Tap that button to cycle through brightness levels.
