When I installed FitBit on my Samsung S9 MobileTrack was also installed in the app.
But as far as I know you don't need MobileTrack if you wear the C4.
But I can't delete it. If I press on the 3 point on the rightside in the Today screen you can unlink it, but it doesn't 😞
Any suggestions?

Didn't work for me either.
Mobile track is where the phone can be used instead of the Charge 4 as when charging or forgetting to it the Charge 4 on.

Had the same problem today. My C3 died overnight so I put the Mobile Track on. Gave me 42,000 steps for a 20 minute walk!! Can't seem to delete it since the entry was created by the fitbit MobileTrack and not the fitbit device itself so there is no tile to click on. Can't delete it from the dashboard either.
Any suggestions?

Just fixed this on my phone. I went to Android settings, then to app permissions, then to the fitbit app, and pressed and held on the "physical activity" permission that Mobile tracker uses to get step data from the phone, and unselected it. No more permanent mobile tracker forward notification! Good luck.

Thanks, Rich_Laue, but disconnecting from the Mobile Track is not my problem, deleting the record created by the Mobile Track is my problem. When my Charge 3 failed completely, I decided to allow Mobile Track to track my steps until I could get a new Fitbit. Unfortunately Mobile Track went crazy and gave me credit for 40K steps in a day. So my problem is how do I delete that record since it is not representative of what I actually achieved that day.

@retroweasel what is it that worked for what issue that you had?
The best answer has nothing to do with the original post.

To disable mobile tracking. Settings -> apps -> fitbit -> permissions-> physical activity -> don't allow
