How do I delete my messages?

Hello, I have a Fitbit Charge 3 and I have an iPhone 10, I have received inappropriate messages in my message envelope, next to the notifications tab that I need to delete.

I was able to clear the conversation, after I reported him but I can still see his face and his name under my messages. If you could please be so kind to let me know what instructions I need to do to delete out of my messages?

Seeing this in my messages every day is upsetting. I joined the Fitbit community for my health and wellness journey. Not to hook up and be harassed when I said no.
Thank you, I look forward to the help!

It's great to see you around, @Smariec.

If you want to delete the messages that are on your Charge 3, you just need to swipe down and tap the "Clear all" option. Now if the messages are in the inbox of your Fitbit account, unfortunately, there isn't an option to delete those messages. You can check the Let us delete in-app notifications/messages request, vote for it and leave your comment.

If you are receiving messages from Fitbit users that aren't making you feel comfortable, remember that you can always block people by doing the following:

  1. Tap the Today tab

, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap the tile with your name.
  3. Find your friends list.
  4. Tap the friend you want to delete or block to view their profile.
  5. On their profile, tap the three dots.
    • To remove the friend, tap Remove Friend.
    • To block a friend, tap Block User.

Let me know if you need anything else. 😊

Thank you for your reply, swiping down did not do anything it does not say clear, so, I’m figuring that these messages are in my inbox that you mentioned and there is nothing I can do. Am I able to delete my whole app and start over? Will that wipe out everything? Including the messages? I’m willing to start over from scratch if I can get this creep off of my inbox. I know you’re the messenger and this is not your doing or fault, but this is seriously something that has to be corrected. I’ve always been an Apple Watch person I tried Fitbit for the first time and I’m still under the window of returning it and if I can’t get this guy off my phone I might have to, I can’t handle looking at this every day. I hope it doesn’t come to that because I do love a Fitbit. Please let me know if I can wipe this out by starting over from scratch. Thank you, look forward to hearing back from you.
