How do I give my Charge 3 to another person without deleting previous data?

I have a Versa 2 and a Charge 3 and want to give the Charge 3 away so how do I delete the info associated with the Charge 3 without deleting any of my old info and the Charge 3 info. How do I separate the two but I need the info from the charge 3 for myself now.

All your data and personal information is held on the fitbit servers rather than on the fitbits so removing the Charge 3 is safe.

When the new owner of the Charge 3 adds it to their account then any residual data on the the fitbit will be removed.
