How do I turn off the Charge 3 SmartTrack feature?

I am an 80 year old female user of Fit Bit 3. I'm Trying to delete the walk, run, bike and swim defaults on my dash board. I have listed the exercises that I do in favorites : Water Aerobics, Interval Workout, Cleaning/Cooking, Gardening.

I can track interval workout if I activate it on my device-sometimes it will transfer to the app. I can log Water Aerobics, and gardening by hand on the app. No room on the app for cooking/cleaning which I do in abundance since I am an AirBnB Superhost for 3.5 years.

Please clarify exactly what you mean by "on my dashboard".

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Dashboard is in the fit bit.com online. Would be helpful on the my I phone
app.
Thought it had to be done at .com then paired with my phone. Not so?

Hello @push78. Welcome to the community forums! @JohnnyRow Nice to see you around and thanks for your great input!

@push78 Thank you very much for the detailed information. If you're referring that you wouldn't like that your Charge 3 records some exercises through the SmartTrack feature, I recommend following the steps below:

  1. Tap the Today tab.
  2. Tap the Exercise tile.
  3. Tap the Settings wheel.
  4. Select the exercise you want to adjust.
  5. You can turn off Auto-Recognize by toggling it.

For more information about how to track your activities with your Fitbit device, please check: How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?

Also, please note that depending on the exercise, you can choose to edit the type of exercise, start and end times, distance covered, and calories burned. Note that you can only edit activities in the Fitbit app. For more details, please see here

For cooking and cleaning, I believe you won't be able to log them in that way in the Fitbit app, but you can manually log them as walk or anything related. For more information, see How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Hope this helps.
