How do you get your watch face to display when you raise your arm?

Regarding your inquiry, to turn on screen wake, I recommend pressing and holding the side button of your Charge 3 until it vibrates, then tap the “screen wake” option to adjust this setting.

This did not work for my Charge 3! And this screen is very dim! This started after I did the last update a couple of days ago.  I am not happy at all!  And  

I have had your products for a long time but am getting disillusioned and looking at other options.
