How do I update and save tracking information?

Hi everyone,

I've been working on graduate school applications for the past month or so and it feels like my brain is a little overwhelmed.

How do I update and save information from my tracker? Should I use the Fitbit app on my smart phone? I'm not sure if it's done the same way as before with the Fitbit Charge HR.

I'm curious to see the range of steps I have every day for the week and how my other stats are changing.

Thanks for the help everyone!!

Yes, @musicmeg222, just like the Charge HR, when you sync your Charge 2 to the smartphone Fitbit app, the data from your tracker is uploaded to the Fitbit server and you can view both the current and history stats on either the app or the on-line Dashboard.

Is it possible to sync the tracker at the end of the week for every day? Or does it need to be done daily since the tracker resets daily?

Thanks!

It wil store data for up to 7 days, so you could sync it once a week if you prefer. The tracker does not exactly "reset" every day, but at midnight each day it starts from zero for all of the stats, and the previous day's stats are rolled into the history. When you sync your tracker, that history is synced with the Fitbit server.

Where on the dashboard can I find the weekly history?
