How do I update my telephone number that’s associated with my charge 3

@sferg9072   Your Fitbit is paired with a device, not necessarily a phone.  You can have the Fitbit app on a wi-fi only tablet or iPod.  If you simply changed phone numbers and you have the same phone, it shouldn't be an issue.  If you have a new phone, then you need to "Forget" your Fitbit on old phone and remove it from the list of Bluetooth devices so you can pair it with the new phone.

I only changed my number. I wanted to update to my new number. It is
instructing me that with the 2 step verification I would need a code text
to the old number to update That’s not possible for me to receive that code
since I am no longer the owner of that number

@sferg9072   Thanks for clarifying that this involves your two factor authentication.  Fitbit gave you a recovery code when you set up your 2-FA.  I hope you remember where you put it.

This Help article  has the information you need to sign in with your recovery code.
