I have had the HR and LOVED it until the past couple of days. It's not tracking hardly any movement. I am very competitive and do many challenges and have noticed that I'm not getting as many steps in. This morning I got up walked around up steps and down them and I had zero steps....is there a way to fix this? It's only 3 years old and I feel it should last longer than that.

3 years is a pretty good run if you ask me
You can try to restart it and see if it helps

I am about to recive my second replacement after having been through two Charge HR's since the end of 2015. Hoping to get better life out of the new one! Issues have been loss of sync capability and batteryt life of less than 24 hours. Two time srecently the Fitbit died overnight.

Contact was with Fitbit Support, by email. They are extremely helpful and I have aboslutely no complaints about their service. Is great.

I am curious how you are receiving a second replacement? My first HR quit functioning after 9 months. They were kind to send a replacement right away. The replacement (about 8 months old) quit monitoring my heart rate 4 days ago. Their support team did some troubleshooting and determined it needed to be replaced but then said they can't replace a replacement. At this point I've had three of their devices over he past 35 months and the longest run I had before failure was 16 months.

I can only put it down to us having different experiences with FitBit Support, assuming that is who you are in contact with. I have found them extremely helpful.

Yes that is correct. First one only lasted just over four months. Cheers

SorryI don't have a fix for you, but my HR has quit working too and it is just shy of 3 years old. I think the comments are right! Three years is a pretty good run! Guess I'll buy another!

Thanks for the comment. I have just purchased a Charge 2 to run in parallel with the replacement Charge HR and hoping for a better future outcome than the barely 12 months past combined HR experience.

You're lucky...mine isn't even 2 years old and it's falling apart. Looking for a better brand and style .

I have the older Charge model and other than than the band that pulled away from the black box, it seems to be working well at 20 months. I put a dab of super glue to hold it back down and it seems to be working out well. Hoping to get three years out of it just like you did

I feel you are extremely lucky for your Fitbit HR to have lasted 3 years. Mine was just barely a year old and kicked on me. I am waiting on my replacement that I just ordered. You can try holding in the side button while plugged into your charger for 10 seconds that will reset it. There is also a tiny pin hole in the back where you can insert a pin and hold for 4 seconds. That's another way to reset things. Hope you have better luck than I did ....I want to add I wore mine every single day and run 5 to 10 miles on most days so I used it pretty hard. I still think I should have gotten more than a year out of it though.

That hole in the back isn’t for reset! It’s the altimeter monitor for the floors counter. Do not stick anything in there or it can damage the unit
