Hi,
Received the Fitbit charge 2 today and was just checking the functions. Tried out exercise mode (running etc) and it keeps taking time. No possibility to exit the mode.
Phone app doesn't show it.
Please give instructions!

Hello @Natalja_Kass, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device? for more information about exercise tracking. To stop the activity and exit the exercise mode, you just need to pause the activity pressing your Charge 2 button and then finish the exercise.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I tried that on my charge 3 and it still keeps adding time even though I've stopped. The only answer I found is to restart the darn thing. But that is unacceptable

Its not on your phone. Its on the device. You hold in the button to start it correct?
You also hold in the button to stop it. It should Buzz when done just like it did when you started it
