I had to call 6 times last week to get help with my Fitbit and now I can't get the messages on my Fitbit.

Check the android help guide.
Check your settings in the Fitbit App.
Make sure power management is turned off. This is explained in the android guide.
If all fails turn off notificstion services and setup notification up, approve all permissions requested.
