I don't own a smart phone. My laptop is not equipped with Bluetooth. How can I sync my Charge 3, which doesn't seem to use a dongle?

Hi @StanleyMichael the list of compatible devices click to see if your computer meets the requirements. If not, even a smartphone not used for calls, can be used to set up and sync.

Thanks so much for your help. I have no smart phone of any type/brand--only a land line. I appreciate your time.
Thanks,
Stanley Michael

@StanleyMichael if you have internet at home and get a smartphone to use to sync with, it would work. Using an old smart phone that isn't used for phone calls, I can sync. Might be a way for you to use your Charge 3.

I don't have a smart phone--old or new. I'm a 76 year old Luddite. I did check; my Windows 10 is a 1907 version.

@StanleyMichael A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.
I appreciate that you checked the options that our dear council @Odyssey13 advised. Currently your Charge 3 will only sync through a computer with Windows 10 and Bluetooth or with a Smartphone.
Syncing is the process that transfers the data your device collects to your Fitbit dashboard. The dashboard is where you can track your progress, see how you slept, set goals, log food and water, challenge friends, and much more. Fitbit trackers, watches, and Fitbit Aria Air use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to sync with phones, tablets, and certain computers. Fitbit Aria and Fitbit Aria 2 use Wi-Fi to connect directly to your router.
If you could borrow a smartphone to set up and sync at least once a week, please follow these instructions to set it to your account.
Additionally, you may want to return your Charge 3 and choose an older Fitbit device model in order to continue syncing with your Dongle.
Let me know the outcome. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
