Is there anyway to turn my charge 2 off to avoid it tracking nonsense??? It told me I burned over 2000 calories on the day I had a 4 hr plane ride. That was really annoying so I took it off for a 6 hour drive, but then it logged the drive and told me I burned 3000 calories that day. It was bothering me so much I made a new account because apparently we aren't able to delete that data. I really don't like the app telling me I'm "under" by 3800 more calories.
I've just made this account today I might delete this one and remake another one because it's already telling me I can eat an extra 1600 calories when I've been sitting at home all day. I did my best, and correct me if I'm wrong, but there's no way to clear the data except restart 3 times and cross your fingers? Although I only take the tracking as a guideline, I hate it when the numbers don't square up.

@Mubuu We can turn some fitbit models off but not the Charge 2. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1257/
Are you seeing issues with your step count too? If it's just the calories then I would suspect that one or more of your profile settings was wrong (age, height, weight etc) as these directly affect the calorie calculations.
I'd expect some spurious steps from driving but not to that extent.
One other thing to consider is your BMR calories. As well as tracking calories burned through activity your fitbit also tracks your BMR calories. These are the calories you burn just keeping your body alive (even when asleep). They are calculated from your profile settings for age, height, weight etc so you needn't be wearing your fitbit to get them. What you are seeing includes the total BMR calories burned since midnight and these need to be taken into account when assessing the calorie burn data.
