Inaccurate Calorie Tracking after Glitch

I’ve had my Fitbit charge 3 since November and it’s been great, however a few days ago it had a glitch where it was vibrating and switching between the home screen and other screens constantly. This went on for about 8 hours before it finally stopped and I was able to reset it. Since then it has not been tracking calories accurately. I know the amount of calories I generally burn and since the glitch it has been tracking 2 to 3x that amount. Usually when I wake up it will say 300-500 calories, now it’s saying I’ve burned 1,000 cal + just sleeping. When I workout for 30 mins doing my normal yoga routine I usually burn around 250 to 300 calories. Now it will say I’ve burned 1,000 +
I really rely on my Fitbit to accurately track calories so I’m not sure what to do. I reset it again, then unpaired it and went through the pairing process again. Should I try a factory reset?

Check your weight, that it hasn't somehow gotten set to something way too high - that would cause higher reported calorie burn.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Just checked my weight and my height to see if it was off. It’s accurate: 132lbs and 5’7”.
