Is anyone else experiencing inaccurate distance on their device? For the past 6 months, since the app was updated, my Charge 2 is constantly 0.5 miles out compared to Strava and MapMyRun. Before this it was working fine and my regular 3 mile route was recorded correctly. I have been in touch with Fitbit for the past 6 months and they have confirmed there is an issue and that I'm not the only one getting it. Fitbit has asked me to be patient and try various things including change my stride length to manual however this made no difference even though at one point I changed my stride to a ridiculous 70 inches (it was still under by 0.4 miles)!! I am in regular contact with support but all I get back now is generic emails on how fitbit works, how gps works, how fitbit works out distance, how to change stride length etc. It's getting really annoying especially as I have several emails from fitbit confirming that they are aware of an issue affecting myself and other people - to me this proves they did something which affected people's devices. Is anyone else experiencing this? Would anyone know without comparing it to another GPS enabled app like Strava or MapMyRun? Is this a bigger issue that fitbit are not publicising for obvious reasons?
