I just started using my fitbit charge 2 HR and I’ve noticed that calorie burn is way off. I double checked all my settings, made sure I wear it right, I turned HR rate “on” and somehow it still shows wrong data. I did only about 30min walk today, I was not active at all and my app shows 1300kcal burned. Any ideas how can I fix that?

Fitbit includes BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories that you are always burning by being alive.
See How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?

It still seems to be way off. By 10am in a morning when I barely do anything it says I burn over 800kcal which is impossible. I have checked all settings. Does it matter if HR is auto or on mode? What else can I do?

Google "BRM calculator". There are several on-line, slight differences but all give close to same result. Using that, see how many calories your BMR for 10 hours would come to, and subtract that from the 800 you are reading and see if that is believable.
