My community 7-day total steps are not adding up correctly. I have not manually logged any data.

Looks like they fixed it, 7-day steps are now totaling correctly in Community > Friends. Thanks Fitbit tech staff.

Additional info: I have reset my Charge 2, deleted and reinstalled the latest version of the Fitbit app on my iPhone 6+ and cleared cookies and browsing data in my browser, which were all recommended at one time or another for similar problems reported in the community history. None of these actions changed anything in the 7-day total steps count.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I've uninstalled the app, restarted my Android phone, no luck.

the 7-day step total appears to be the step total of the last 6 complete days. it appears to excludes today's steps as well as this weekday last week. it should either include the steps from this day one week ago or the total for today so far to make it a 7-day total / running total

Thanks for the update TheGlove...I guess we just wait and see what the Fitbit tech staff comes up with, assuming they’ll let us know when they find a solution.

I still have this problem! My friends don't have this problem, so the 'competition' we have is not fair. I had the most steps last week, but my average is the worst because it includes the steps from this day, and this day is still going on. What can I do?

the problem might be a time zone one. I just try to sync regularly with my smartphone and get the steps competing is not my main goal

Hi. I am having this same issue now. The 7-day total steps on my dashboard is 47,158 which is correct. The total on Community/Friends is 37,533, which is 9,625 short.
