Incorrect date and time

Hi all,

I used my Fitbit charge 2 after not using it for 18 months. It’s counting steps fine but date and time is wrong so it resets in the middle of the day. I’ve spent about 3 hours reading and watching tutorials and nothing is working. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it won’t find it. I’ve deleted Fitbit app, turned Bluetooth off my phone off and all back on again and it still won’t find it. I just need to change the bloody date and time, how else can I do this pleeeease

Hi @Nicinoo, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding.

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post. Let me share with you that our Fitbit devices use your mobile device information to display the time with the syncing process, therefore, by simply syncing your Charge 2 it should display the correct time.

However, this may be fixed by updating the time zone setting in your Personal Settings. For step-by-step instructions, please see our help article: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted and let us know if you have any additional questions..
