Is it possible to force enable SpO2 sensor?

I've been waiting for too long to wait for the spo2 sensor to be enabled on my charge 3. I was reading reports of a spo2 sensor rollout in early January and my device has yet to get the spo2 sensor-enabled or the oxygen variation graph. Now it's February, the end of the estimated rollout and I still don't see the oxygen variation graph or any updates or anything related to Spo2. Can I just force enable the Spo2 sensor already. It doesn't have to be fancy even just measuring blood oxygen is good enough.

Same here.  Hope Fitbit, err Google responds to our dilemma

Don't get too excited. The feature seems to come and go even after it's been rolled out. Fitbit seems to have a very *interesting* update structure.

If a car manufacturer sold a vehicle fitted with a turbocharger and no software to run it I doubt they would get away with it, so how do Fitbit justify no driver for SPo2?

PS little used Charge 3 on Ebay
