Hi
Is the Fitbit charge 2 compatible with the Huawei P8 Lite 2017? I've downloaded the app from the Google play store but have not managed to sinc the fitbit & phone, the phone seems unable to find the fitbit. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey @fitnesspuppy, welcome aboard! That phone model, the Huawei P8 Lite isn't on the list of compatible devices yet. However, you can try to setup/sync your tracker with it but I can't guarantee that it is gonna work, just keep that in mind. 😉 In the meantime, if you have a computer or by any chance, another compatible device, you can try to setup your Fitbit with it. And don't worry, our team is working in order to enlarge the compatible devices list, so our users can have more options to use their Charge 2 with different phones.

Hi @fitnesspuppy, I hope you are doin' fine! I totally understand you because even if you can sync with your PC and check almost all of your stats, you can only take fully advantage of the Charge 2 features if you use it with a mobile device, specially because of the notifications.
Now regarding your question, I don't have a specific date for this phone model to be compatible. I know it has taken a lot of time, but trust me, our team is working on several Huawei models as well as other Android phones so that is why is taking so long. I just need you to be patient while they are taking care of this.

Welcome aboard @ElleVictoriaV! If I have any news about this device, the Huawei P8 Lite, rest assured that I will keep you posted guys. In the meantime, stay tune about this by checking the compatible devices link every once in a while. I know that you have been patiently waiting but as I've been mentioning, our team is working with every cellphone's brand that uses Android as their operation system, in order to add them to the mentioned list, but is not that easy because there are certain type of phones that doesn't meet all the requirements to sync with Fitbit trackers, so those are the ones that are taking more time.

Hey @EllenVD, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! This phone model, the Huawei P8 Lite hasn't been released as a compatible device yet, however, it might work with your Charge 2 if it meets these minimum requirements:
So I would suggest you to try to setup/sync your Charge 2 with it. And it fails at the first time, you can take a look at this help article. Just keep in mind that I can't guarantee this will work.

However you can try the troubleshooting in this help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and if you were able to set it up but still having syncing issues, try the following tips in this other help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? In the meantime, I will ask you to be patient while our team still working on adding more devices to the compatible devices list.

I got my Fitbit Versa 5 days ago. I have a Huawei P8 lite 2017. I could successfully sync my watch to my phone after several attempts, trial and error on the 2nd day. Struggled again 3rd day. Worked again on the 4th day... Now it does not work again.. I know the phone is not on the list, but I could setup the phone and have it synced atleast on 2 occasions..
Does the synchronization work on and off or was I just lucky that it worked?
I also cannot get the windows 10 option working on my laptop. When I try to install the app, it gives me an error code 0x80248014
Some advise please...

Hey @Swain1974, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! This phone model, the Huawei P8 Lite isn't on the compatible devices list, so as you mentioned, it might work sometimes. I think that if you were able to set up your Versa with it, is because still under testing. As I always recommend, you can try the troubleshooting in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? Just keep in mind that I can't guarantee that it'll work. Now in regards of the error that you are getting on your Windows 10 computer, could you please post a screenshot of that so I can take a look and further investigate it?

Year on from that post and no compatibility yet with fitbit and huawei plite8. Never gunna happen is it!!!!
