Is this a step glitch?

I noticed while checking back through the week that four days out of the last 7, my step count had been exactly the same (14,915) despite each day being totally different in terms of what exercise I’ve done (mixture of walking, dancing, gym classes). 
This is so weird! I went back further and there were other days with that same step count a couple of weeks ago. 
Does it default to an average step count if you don’t synch, or something like that?

Hello @SM109 and welcome to the Community.  I know that other users are seeing this, too.  Do you use an iPhone?  There is a thread in the iOS forum, but not in the Android forum.  It isn't a Charge 4 issue.  It's happening to other devices.  If you use an iPhone, I can merge your post in that thread.  If you use Android, I can move your post to that forum as a new topic.
