Just got my Charge 3 two nights ago, and already noticed some scratching across the middle of the screen. Nothing too major, but I'm surprised it happened so quickly, with vary careful use, in less than two days. I wasn't worrying about a screen protector because I thought the gorilla glass would prevent most of this. (Edited to add: customer service advised against a screen protector, saying "You can look for one though we do not recommend it as it may further damage the display." So... I guess there's no way to prevent this?)
Wondering if anyone else has this issue? From what I've see in other posts, it seems like people aren't experiencing this issue too often. I'm worried about getting a replacement through Amazon since I'm reading about much more serious issues in some other units, and otherwise, mine seems great so far.
Thanks for any input!
Iam in the same position with screen damage. I am astonished at how widespread this screen durability issue is and I am even more astonished that Fitbit is not treating this as a manufacturing defect because if it's not a manufacturing defect that means they are knowingly marketing an Unfitbit that can't endure normal day to day activities.
After many follow up emails, I received notification that Fitbit is sending a replacement tracker. I am so pleased they are doing the right thing because I do like the tracker.
Best AnswerIf you go onto eBay you can find some great deals as for I use them all the time
Best AnswerI also called customer service about my Inspire HR and they were no help. They told me that there was nothing that Fitbit made to protect the screen. I looked on Ebay and saw that people have protectors, but they're just not made by Fitbit. I think it's ridiculous that something so expensive can scratch so easily.
Same issue - got my charge 3 for Christmas and then it scratched within a week (and I wasn’t even doing anything to cause scratches). Contacted Fitbit and they said it was out of warranty despite me having it less than 2 weeks. However, my sister got her inspire replaced after she had scratched it - just seems that it depends on who you get at customer service to replace it or now 😕 guess I’ll be looking into a different device - one that is actually quality and up to the task of being a fitness tracker

Best AnswerI made a complaint about my screen on my fitbit inspire HR.i had scratches on it after mainly just sleeping with it which is made for and made a complaint and the customer service I received was rubbish.
I am so disappointed. I just got a brand new Fitbit Sense. After only wearing it for 3 days, the screen is ALL scratched. Very obvious ones. I did not drop it. I did not accidentally hit it. I didn't even get the chance to work out in it yet. It is ridiculously expensive and all ready ruined...
Where do I start to bring this to Fitbit attention because it is a huge flaw in design and I can't believe that they do not sell a designated screen protector.
I found the same thing with my Versa 2. Wore it for less than a week and it had huge scratches even though I treated it very well. I've tried everything to get the scratches out. Nothing works.
