Looking for device - every day.

My Charge 3 is being temperamental. I have the Fitbit app on my iPhone & have been experiencing problems with syncing. I’ve got the most recent iOS update.
For the past 3 days it has been ‘syncIng & refreshing’, then ‘looking’, then ‘no device found’. I have had to ‘forget‘ the device, turn the Bluetooth on & off, reset the device & link it back up every day. I have sleep data & hr data missing from 2 days ago.
I use the app daily to track my exercise.
It’s getting really frustrating as it’s usually so reliable.
On the plus side I have discovered a new clock face, but it doesn’t compensate for no sleep being tracked.

I’m having the same issue again. Yesterday worked fine, today the app won’t sync with my watch, so hasn’t logged my sleep or this mornings steps at all. “Looking for device - device not found.”
Whats the problem? The app or the tracker?

There are so many people with the same issue on here. What are fitbit doing to resolve for everyone?
I’m getting tired of restarting, deleting, refreshing. It’s beyond a joke.

ok, so I have discovered that logging out of my account & back in again seems to make it sync without the need for farting about with the tracker for hours!!

I hope this helps someone else.
But the question still remains, Why is it doing it?

I clearly spoke too soon.
ive just had difficulty syncing again. Out of 30 tries to restart the watch whilst charging, it only would work twice. Done the log out trick, Bluetooth forget & reconnect (finally)
The app now says I’ve walked 2000 steps more than my watch.
This us the beginning of the end for me. I truly have had enough.

Last week I ran 6 miles it tracked it and sync the right amount of time on my fitbit but it's also linked to my WW (weight watchers) app and that was sent like 2000 minutes of activity that day. Today it track edmy run gave me the pace as I ran it but now that I'm finished it won't show the map of the run or the splits. Huh! I may have to to step up to Strava or Garmin.
