I have found a wonderful way to increase my daily steps! Check the report on my phone and see it is over 16,000 -really???  Check the device on my wrist and it is just under 10,000 which is far more realistic.  (Notice that the lovely analogue watch face has somehow turned into lines of info I cannot read without my glasses and a digital watch, oh and some wierd numbers).  Walk out into the kitchen (the next room) and back and see phone now shows over 17,000 steps! Wrist still more realistic at around 10,000.  

Check just now and at 7 minutes past midnight I have today apparently already done 9780 steps.

Unless I am walking hundreds of steps while thinking I am sitting on the settee something is wrong!

Guess tomorrow (or later today after sleeping) will be spent trying to sync things for realistic results.

No idea how but this morning it managed to go back to how it should be all by itself
