I have Bluetooth version 4, and Sierra OS. But my Mac cannot find my fitbit. However, my Mac was able to find other bluetooth devices (like my phone).

@AJisfit please reread the setup guide

No where does it ask a user to open your Mac's Bluetooth settings. . Please use the Add new device found in the Connect software.

  1. If your computer isn’t Bluetooth-enabled, insert a wireless sync dongle into a USB port on your computer.
  2. Go to http://www.fitbit.com/setup.
  3. Scroll down and click the pink Download button.
  4. After the download completes, double-click the downloaded file to start installation.
  5. After installing, when prompted, choose Set up a New Fitbit Device
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a Fitbit account and connect your device.
