Nothing wrong with my charge 3 I love it but the other day I noticed that a line of pixels were missing across the top now today 3 lines a missing I've only had it since November. Has anyone had this happen to them and how do you fix it. I've reset it twice with no change.
Thanks in advance

Try doing a hard reset if your screen is completely blank. Place it on the charger and hold the side button 15 to 30 seconds. It should reset it. Hope this helps.
If you have had it less than a year it should be under warranty, contact customer service they will help you..

I'm having the same problem and it's getting worse. I can't tell the correct time between some numbers

Looks like my problem is not just my problem. Will start with hard reset.

After 11 months mine lost an horizontal line on the top of the screen. It is annoying and after trying both reset and hard reset still persists. Waiting for an update from support.

Hi. I have read many comments of other Fitbit Charge 3 users who have had black lines across their charge 3 screen. I also have this problem with my charge 3. I have about 5 now lines, and I've had mine for about 4 to 5 months. I have done everything I could think of multiple times: resetting and reconnecting. I don't want to have to get a completely new device. Please help.

Came across this thread as I’m having the same issue! Struggling to read the date and battery percentage. Have tried the various resets and updates/setting changes but it is exactly the same 😕

Hi Maria
Me and my family are fitbit users, we all have charge 2 and Aria 2 scales, with no issues at all.
Recently I got a charge 3 because I wanted to incorporate swimming into my fitness program, but its been a nightmare, it has those annoying missing pixels, and Ive tried all the recommendations listed on the forums with no success at all.
I would like to know what the next step is please?
Thank you very much!

It might be fixed by reseting the device(plug it on the charger and press the left button for either 15 seconds or 30 seconds if it doesn't work ).
For me it did not help and issue persisted. Since it is new and still within guarantee, refer to customer support for replacement. Just bare in mind that the replacement will be only for the device without any other parts(wristbands, charger). It takes just a few days to receive your replacement. 👍
You will alternatively be offered for a credit to buy some other fitbit products

I’m having the same problem. It started at the top, then the bottom line went. I loved it, but have stopped wearing it because it’s so difficult to read. Help!!

I purchased my Fitbit in December 2018 as a Christmas gift and about a month ago it started having vertical lines like the pixels are missing. I have charged it and did both a soft and hard restart. I have also changed the clock face and the lines are still there. I am also noticing an increase of lines as time goes on and fear that I might not see much of anything in a month or two.

Contact Fitbit customer services online they are helpful to an extent. If its under warranty ie 12 months or under then they will replace the device not the straps etc. Had same problem with mine before it went worse and couldn’t see much. Got it replaced but surprise surprise same thing happening with the replacement. Not sure what to do now. Maybe I’ll carry on using it until it dies 😢😢
It will just be the device they replace and not any straps u may have. And all your data etc will carry onto the new one. So should be just a transfer

I am 3 months over my 12 month warranty. I was looking at it today and I
have lost about 6 pixels in a row on the left and another 4 on the right. I
use mine to track my sleep because I don't sleep well. I guess I will have
to go back to the drawing board on what to use because there is no point of
getting another one if the same problem occurs with the replacement or
purchasing a new one.
Update June 17, 2020
I went about a month and a half with not being able to see anything on my fitbit and then last week it stopped holding a charge. I am really struggling with spending that much money only to have it last 16 months. At this point I would like to let those that purchase this that it is not quality and a waste of money. Also, I have not heard from a Fitbit person in regards to this issue which is another reason I will not pass on postive feedback about this product.

I have noticed the missing pixels on my Charge 3 for over a week and NOW it keeps freezing up on me. I've restarted it several times and it just isn't working. 😞
REALLY disappointed because I really LOVE my Fitbit!
