Must restart every morning to get sleep to display

For the past several days my Charge 2 has not been showing my sleep data. The first time it happened, I came to this forum and it was suggested that I restart the FitBit, as well as my iPad and phone. That worked. But I have had to do that routine every single morning since— a real pain in the neck. Is this a problem with my device, or a software glitch or what? Any suggestions?

it seems to be recording steps, flights, everything else just fine— and it is recording sleep, just not displaying it.

I believe the sleep data has to get back to the main Fitbit database to do calculations before showing up on your app.  This requires at least a sync.  My sleep data often does not show up right away, but will appear in a while if I'm just patient, without the need to restart anything.

Thanks. Like how long? A few minutes, a few hours?

I probably expect it within an hour if I force a sync, often sooner.

My charge 2failed to zero at midnight last night. How do I try to restart it to rectify this?

To restart, you plug it in to the charging cord and the hold the button on the FitBit in for several seconds until the FitBit logo of a diamond of dots appears. Remove from the charging cord. Note: I have had to to restart my phone and iPad as well to get the FitBit info to synchronize, but that’s apparently atypical.
