My Charge 3 battery is draining quickly.

I have had a Charge 3 since May 2019. It has worked fine (holding charge for around a week +/- a day) up until 2 days ago.

Now it goes from fully charged to 4% within 30mins to an hour.

I can then charge it from there to full in under 10 minutes.

I have tried resetting it then charging, resetting it while charging and leaving it charging for 24hours to no avail.

Can you advise of any other steps I can take to resolve this as by my reckoning, this device is not particularly old to have a failed battery.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @paulsreid.

Thank you for the information provided and for trying to resolve the issue before contacting us.

Because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary but under a regular use your Tracker's battery is meant to last up to 7 days.

To extend your Fitbit Charge 3 battery life, you can follow these instructions.

I appreciate it should last up to 7 days but not sub 1 hour. The tracker is useless as it does not hold charge for any reasonable length of time despite following all instructions to extend its life.

I would even accept needing to charge it every couple of days, but this is not what I am getting. How do I arrange to have the tracker looked at/replaced please? I have just removed it from the charger and it has gone from 100% to 52% in less than 5 minutes.
