My Charge 4 screen is blank

My charge 4 screen is blank. Tried pressing to reset and now the Bluetooth has been disconnected. I can’t see anything on the watch at all

Hi Wendypooh,

yes, the support team responded. They advised to restart and if it failed, to change the clock face. Both I tried and it didn’t work. Eventually they gave me a discount count of 35% to get a new device as they claimed my device is out of warranty. I got my device in April 2020. Apparently there are others who also experience the same now.

Same thing happened to my Charge 4. I did all the things. Multiple times. Still didn't work. I've had my device exactly 12 months. Luckily I still have my Charge 2 and went back to using it instead.

That's what they did for me as well. But the coupon was only if I purchased an older device, not the new Charge 5. I guess this is Fitbit/Google's way of getting us to spend more money. Some software command they send out to kill the device so you have to upgrade. That is how they make money in Silicon Valley!!!

I have the exact same problem, must be a software problem I’d say. I was able to get the smiley face, install a new clock, connected, but the screen went blank. 

I do see graphics, so the screen is working fine.
