The screen disappears when I click on the App it worked fine yesterday. I don’t want to loose my data if I delete and reinstall

If you delete the app your tracking data will not be affected as that's all held on the fitbit servers.
Are you running iOS? If so the recent update to version 3.6 of the app caused it to crash but yesterday they released 3.6.1 that should fix it. It's worth checking that you are on the latest version.
