My Fitbit is not logging my runs or jogs.

I think my fitbit is not working as it should. I go for a 45 min run with my dog and it tells me I did a 24 minute walk. I spent 2 hours jogging hard in place and it told me I had no activity. At 2:00 pm and I have 37,000 steps. Getting frustrated.

May I ask what way you are logging your activity? Is the dogs leash on the same hand as the Fitbit? 

As for running in place, you will need to use the treadmill setting since this activity can not be auto detected.

I run with my hand , and the fitbit, on my stomach. It seems to count steps that way.  The leash is on my right hand, fitbit on my left.Thank you, Janet
