My Weekly Report Is Wrong?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I worked pretty hard to get over 10,000 steps every day last week because I love that weekly report email with all of your stats- and it only had one day... with a daily step total of 710 STEPS?! I never walked that little AND I wore my fitbit every day and made sure it synced to my phone. Does anyone know what happened? Thanks!

Unless I'm being really dim, mine was wrong too. It said my weekly cal burn was 20523 and my cal intake was 11124 buts showing the difference to be be only just over 2000 and I work it out to be 90402... math never being my strong point but  I expected to see a bigger number than 2000.

that's so weird- I know how frustrating it is to not get what you worked for! Anyone else have a similar problem or know what happened?

Hello guys @waterlilysun @RosieRover, it's great to see you around! Smiley Very Happy Please don't freak out or get mad at me for asking this, but you have double checked your Dashboard week period and the Fitbit Weekly report period?. My Dashboard week is Sunday through Saturday Evening. The Weekly Report is Monday through Sunday Evening.

Both of you sync frequently during the day? By any chance, did you guys stop syncing for more than 1 day?

Mine is set up properly and it synchs every half hour if not more.

The report shows the cals in and out on mine to the figures I mentioned, the deficit is just wrong by several thousand!

I use myfitnesspal in conjunction with my Fitbit so its not so desperate for me. Would be nice to see the correct figures though 🙂

, I made sure to sync it every day and I checked the dashboard and weekly report etc. It's frustrating to have paid quite a bit of money for a fitbit and have it not work properly.

Thanks for confirming this girls @waterlilysun @RosieRover!  My best recommendation after double checking how you guys are syncing your data is to get in touch with Customer Support directly.

They will be more than glad to do a deeper investigation into this and see where the issue may be coming from. Don't forget to mention you've checked your data already.

Let me know the outcome!

Yes, I began using my Charge 2 this January and all my weekly reports are strange. The totals for the week are probably correct. However, when it gives the comparisons for the last week in every category....the math is totally wrong and generally not even the correct direction. Makes it seem very untrustworthy. It keeps saying for instance "109 fewer calories than last week" when the total calories burned is much higher than the previous week. It's wrong in every category like this though...floors, miles, whatever.

I agree, it is very frustrating. Again, everyone is paying over $100 for a faulty product which is very disappointing and concerning. Hopefully Fitbit will work harder and fix this.

My problem is similar, but different. My weekly goal will skip days when I know I've hit all my goals that day. For instance this week it shows Sunday Monday Tuesday and today. Nothing listed for Wednesday but I hit and exceeded all my goals for Wednesday so why didn't count that one? It's done this before, but it's very aggravating and I'd like to get it fixed

Thanks for stopping by @tdance678nv! I had a similar issue a couple of days ago with my weekly exercise goals and I tried the following:

  • Log out of your Fitbit App
  • Force quit the App
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit App

Let me know if this does the trick for you too!

Hello, Still no Wednesday. It wouldn't bother me so much, except it was my best day.
Thanks

Mine is wrong again... it says my weight has been the same for the last three weeks and I've lost 5lbs. It's very, very annoying. It also says I've only been active for 6 days and it's been 7 every week for months now?!

Is is there a way to stop getting these weekly reports? There is absolutely no point in being sent this data if it's wrong!

I've tried the method above and it didn't fix anything. But when I get the emailed reports, data appears to be right. So at least you know that the information is right with Fitbit, just not on our equipment.
