My screen on Charge 2 won’t work

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This morning I charged my Fitbit for the first time in a while. After it was completely charged i got on the app and said that it I needed to update my charge 2 so I did. But then it stopped working and so I exited out of the app to restart. Then the screen on my Fitbit went black but the green lights still flash. I tried plugging it in and nothing happens and no vibrations.

Hi @SadieMac, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding.

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post, thanks for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting too. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your Charge 2 following the next steps:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker:
    • For Charge 2—press and hold the button on your tracker for 4 seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.
