New iphone doesn't see fitbit

My bluetooth is on. I go into settings on fitbit and it doesn't see iphone 11. I go to bluetooth on iphone and it doesn't recognize fitbit even with bluetooth on and both devices are side by side. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance!

@FLKaren Welcome! It's great to see you around! 

Let me help you syncing your Charge 2 with your iPhone. The sync is managed by the Fitbit app on your phone. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.
