Dear Fitbit - when is the next Firmware Update for the Charge 3 due? its been six months since the last one

Screen was so dim I could not read it outside.  tried everything suggested on the forums.  Had it a week and called Fitbit.  They said they were aware of the problem but did not know when the fix would come out.  Seems consistent with the answer given here.  Loved mine but returned it today because of the dim screen.  Will repurchase, but after the fix comes out as loong as there is not another better tracker in the mean time.

I have the same issue. It's been so long now since this has been a problem, mine is out of warranty and I just have to hope that when they finely release an update that it fixes the issue. I'm really bummed out about this and wish Fitbit would attempt to fix this already, seems like it's taken them way way too long on this one. ☹️
