I recently acquired my first Fitbit. The amount of models out there is a bit overwhelming. I decided on a Charge 3, as it was newest on our market so I thought it would be the most advanced, but to my disappointment it seems not to track Blood Pressure. Is there an app for that, or will it come in an update? I love this Fitbit but do only some models measure Blood Pressure, or was it removed cuz it was an inaccurate feature? Would love advice! TY

Congratulations for acquiring the new Fitbit Charge 3. I'm happy to answer your question about monitoring blood pressure. Your Tracker does not have the capability to measure this feature, however, it includes a relative SpO2 sensor. In the future, this sensor could give users the opportunity to identify potential health issues like sleep apnea. Our team is still exploring how this could manifest in the user experience, but such technology would use this sensor. At the moment, Fitbit products don't measure Blood Pressure.

@Weng_C wrote:Felt sad upon learning that my fitbit charge 3 does not monitor bp. Other brands of trackers/smart watch does measure 😒
Really?? I would like to know which trackers can measure blood pressure?? Can you please tell us?
The Walgreens app could help with monotering your bp, but you have to input manually, but bonus you can earn rewards points if you sync the two apps.
hint: just click a Fitbit, because yours is not on the list. Then it will ask you to connect and log in to Fitbit app. And yeah you are earning points.
Hope it helps with what you are looking to do
Best Answerhttps://omronhealthcare.com/products/heartguide-wearable-blood-pressure-monitor-bp8000m/ for one. Allegedly reliable as it comes from a leader in BP Monitors/Checkers.
Best AnswerThanks. This Omron Healthguide watch costs $499.99 US. Other BP smartwatches are most likely made in China and if you review them on Amazon, you'll find the BP measurements are not that reliable, especially if your normal BP on the either ends (too low or too high).
It's too bad FitBit has yet to incorporate BP monitoring technology.
Best AnswerI would love the BP sensor. My BP goes up and down all the time.
Best AnswerI found a $60 ECG watch that measures BP, ECG, and PPG on a Chinese website. It performs something similar to a FitBit. However, the sleep readings, the steps, the heart rate are not all that accurate. The sport modes are a joke. The BP monitoring uses two steps: Calibrate and Measure.. The calibrate step takes in the BP measurement from a medical monitoring device. Then the watch measures your BP. You could do that with either through the watch or through a related phone app. Of course, both readings are different from each other. However, both gives you the BP similar to what you enter in the calibrate step. YEAH, I suspect the watch uses the "calibrated" BP to give you a similar reading. LOL.

Best AnswerHome blood pressure monitors are notoriously inaccurate. You’re better off buying a stand alone BP monitor if you seriously need BP monitoring (as I do). Not many are calibrated correctly, or at all. Every doctor and nurse I asked, before purchasing my home BP monitor suggested OMRON monitors. I’ve had it 6 months, and my home reading always match dr office readings

Best AnswerI have an off brand called "smart bracelet" by a company called iMounTEK. I purchased on Ebay. It does BP. I have a cuff machine, and wanted to check accuracy because it is an off brand. Monitored for 10 days, and the BP was accurate every time with measurements from cuff machine I have.
Best AnswerFitbit design team How about for BP monitoring, if it were just trackable /recordable in the watch/app like with Feminine Health I'd be happy. Then I have all my records for provider/i myself in one place.
