My new Fitbit Charge 2 indicates when I have a phone call, but no name or number shows up. It always says unknown, even though my phone clearly has caller ID and shows me who's calling. Is there a way to fix this? I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+. Thanks!

It's great to see you here, welcome @TristanADCH! I had this issue a while ago, but I just needed to follow these steps:
- Go into your phone's settings
- Select "Apps"
- Select the Fitbit App
- Find "Permissions"
- Enable your Contacts (toggle over to the right)
This should allow your phone to recognize callers from your contacts list and their name should appear.
If that doesn't work, check what my friend @stenochris has shared in this post and try the recommendation.

Same issue with Galaxy S7, callers are "unknown" but the texts are ok. All permissions are proper in both the phone apps and in fitbit app. Help! Tried turning off bluetooth and shutting down, then returning on, did not work.

Welcome to the Community Forums @Kenaigo! I'm sorry for the late response. Thanks for making sure that all permissions are proper in both devices.
Please update the app if you haven't already and let me know what you experience after updating. The latest version of the Android app seems to be working for some users. Be sure that you try to get the latest update and see if the situation is resolved after.
If you have already updated and continue to experience it, please try following these troubleshooting steps and set the notifications up once again.

Is that the most current version? I don't have an option to update it.
Thanks,
Tricia

Hello there @Kenaigo, thanks for jumping in here! This is the latest firmware update for Charge 2, what you need to verify is if your Fitbit app doesn't have a pending update. Please check this article to find the steps on how to do so.
Let me know if you need further assistance, I'll be around.
