After my Galaxy A8 2018 updated to Android Pie, I can no longer connect my device to the phone. It won't show up in the Bluetooth list of available devices. It doesn't sync at all. I tried resetting the device, but it's the same. If I try several times, it may succeed connecting once, but then it loses connection and doesn't sync. Before the update it worked fine.

The mobile device that you mentioned is a supported device. I would like you to try this troubleshooting for the syncing issue that you're experiencing.
