No sleep data on the app

Hi there,

since about three weeks ago, I have noticed that in my fitbit application the sleep data no longer show up. I installed the latest versions already, but still the sleep data wouldn’t come back. I have to check sleep data through the dashboard on the fitbit website instead. Also, there is no more SleepScore even on the website dashboard, only duration and sleep stage . It is all blank in the app like below. By the way, I have switched to google account from fitbit account and tried restarting my phone & shut down the app several times, to no avail.

A week ago my Fitbit stopped showing heartbeat and apparently this is why I am no longer getting a sleep score.  I contacted fitbit through chat and they wold me to turn my Fitbit off then on again but this made no difference.  They said they would get back to me by email but haven’t.

Hi @Jatupon @Sara-Lu. Welcome to the community forums.

Thnak you for sharing teh details regarding the inconvenience with the Fitbit app.

I'm not sure if you are still having difficulties with sleep @Jatupon. Please try fo follow these steps:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Check if the issue is still happening.

@ Sara-Lu  keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see your sleep score information. Please swipe left on the Sleep Score graph, here you can see information about your weekly sleep average and sleep duration. To get more detailed information, see: What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?

I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Im having the same issue. My sleep date is not showing up on my app anymore for at least 3 months. I have been using the dashboard on a web browser to see it. And now within the past week I can’t check it on the dashboard anymore on my phone and it’s forcing me to go to the app where it is not showing my sleep data at all from current overnight and any in the past. Please look into this. Thank you.

Hi @ManuFitbit

thanks for your suggestions. I have tried all of them several times shutting down my phone, signing off from my account ,deleting the app, reinstalling the app and lastly even bought my new Fitbit Inspire 3 All of these to no avail. NO Sleep data on the app. Could you suggest other ways to solve this problem. My inspire 3 show sleep score on its screen alright which means the problem is with the App.

thank you so much for your help

Hi @TedKuan @ManuFitbit @Sara-Lu

Koan local distributor in Thailand just solved the problem for me . You need to change region calendar from Buddhist to Gregorian. Now all data updated.  So glad 🙂
