Not calculating calories burned correctly

Over the last two days the calories have burned or am burning is totally wrong... yesterday I went on a 35 min walk and it said I only burned 42 calories, as for the whole day I did almost 8,000 but only burned around 800 calories? Today, I’ve been awake for 3+ hours, have almost 1400 steps and have only burned 318 calories? My heart rate is lower than my resting heart rate as I am writing this. I have rebooted it multiple times in the last two days.

Check that your weight is not set way too low.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I checked, it’s the same as the last time I updated it.
As I sit here, it’s saying my heart rate is at 58, my normal resting bmp is
67. That doesn’t make any sense either.

As of today only the phone app is completely bonkers. I went for a walk of over 7 miles, 18,500 steps, 49 floors, and it is showing 636 cals for the whole day (it was off my wrist and charging overnight)  and 15 minutes of exercise, on the dashboard. If I go to the exercise log portion it shows the walk and the time as 125 minutes but shows 144 calories, which is about right for a half hour walk. For yesterday it is showing 685 calories for the whole day which is less than I use just to exist, and I walked for half an hour. Now showing 808 calories for the day before that, when I exercised 70 minutes/65 floors/almost 10k steps. Pretty sure this is a change from previous syncs for those days. I rebooted the device but this did not fix things retroactively. Any suggestions? These crazy calorie counts seem to have been changed retroactively.
