My phone suddenly won't find my device.. and naturally it's not syncing anymore either. I have restarted my phone, the Bluetooth is on but still not connecting.

Having tried restarting your phone without any luck, try restarting your Charge 2:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

I have the same problem for ages..

Last sync was 22 June, and i can't get it to sync no matter what i do.

So i tried all kinds of different steps, nothing works. I have removed charge 2 from my account and also from bluetooth. And if i want to pair it with another phone, it just doesn't find anything.

Date and time is off by few months, other than that everything works without the app.

If that doesn't work - which it didn't for me with my Charge 2 and HTC One X10, I simply replaced the tracker in the account settings of the Fitbit app. Replacing the tracker re-discovers and re-initialises the connection - and from then on it syncs properly. You don't lose any of the data either.
