Not recieving texts

I have not gotten any text messages on my charge 2 for 2 weeks.  I called support they said they  were aware

  I doh d all the resets in help columns still no texts.  Come on Fitbit are you going to provide service or not or should I go to another brand?

I did all as advised in your email. It is a galaxy s8. It worked fine
until a couple weeks ago. I followed every direction given a d it still
will not work properly. I get the person's name and a picture of a
message. The only time it worked was during an emergency alert. I am very
frustrated and disappointed with Fitbit. I have spent lots of time and
energy on this

Let me help you with your missing text messages and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? You can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.
