Not tracking steps with kids stroller

It’s quite annoying when my steps don’t get counted when I’m pushing a stroller or shopping cart. With 2 little kids the majority of walks are in a stroller. Am I forever doomed with having my steps not counted since I’m not swinging my arms? Do I move it to my ankle?? Can’t it track my mileage and compute?

You can probably get good step count in a pocket or pinned to belt or clothing, but lose heart rate for that time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
