Notification screen won't clear on Charge 2

Hi all,

My charge 2 started to not close notifications suddenly. So when I look at the screen it won't let me go back to the main menu it just keeps asking me to select, reply, open or clear but when I try to clear the message it wont recognize my response.

Its been on the same screen for 3 days.

Any idea how to correct this or do a hard reset?
