Hi,
Some days I exercise more than once. For example I walked for 1.5 hrs then later that day I played Pickleball. (That is where I burn calories!). Of course Fitbit is only recording the first activity of the day. This happens repeatedly. Some days it works correctly but most days not. My warranty ran out this month (Jan 18) but I would not replace the Charge 4. Have you read all the issues? LOL. I read one where a replacement was offered but the person could not upgrade to a Charge 5. It wasn’t allowed.
My last issue was my Fitbit would stop part way through the exercise, I would have to restart it numerous times. I called Fitbit as they reached out after my post, I called, June, July, August, Sept, Oct and November because every month this was happening. I didn’t bother calling in December and this month, what is the use? It would work after deleting the app, deleting the watch, resetting the watch, plus other tweaks. Why should I have to do that numerous times a month. I have been an avid Fitbit user for YEARS, but it may be time for a change……

@DubsN Are you manually starting/tracking the session on your tracker, or allowing your fitbit to auto-detect activity? If you're sing the auto-detect, what happens if you manually start a "workout" session?

I assume that when you finish that exercise, and exit the exercise session on the watch, you see the summary of your workout (steps, calories, etc.)? It sounds like you've already done the usual fixes (reset watch, clear app cache, etc) multiple times. If your device is still under warranty, I would be bugging fibit.

After all of these messages Fitbit has decided (one time only) to replace my Charge 4, as my warranty was up mid January. I will try this one, hoping mine was a lemon. (Judging by all the comments of issues in the Forum, I am not hopeful). If this one has any issues I will change brands. I don’t know what has happened to Fitbit over the years but the product us not up to the standards it had before. Fingers crossed this one works.
