I received a Fitbit Charge 2 for Xmas '18. I am pretty sedentary but I seemed to achieve the 10,000 every day. Even when I have not been out. I noticed that there are steps when I wake up (156 for example) when I haven't been out of bed. If the Fitbit does not count steps properly I don't see the point in having it and it makes me question all of its functions. What can I do? Thanks

Try changing the arm setting to dominant.
Your Fitbit standard what your feet are doing but looking at arm movements.
While Fitbit continually looks at fine timing their algorithm there will be times when excessive movements of the arm may add steps.
