Persistent calendar notifications since updating to IOS 13

Hi, I updated my phone and iPad overnight and ever since I keep getting a persistent notification on my charge 2 for an old calendar reminder.  It didn’t happen until I updated to IOS 13 so I assume it’s a glitch. Has anyone else had the same issue and does anyone know how to stop it without turning off notifications?  Many thanks

I have the same issue and it's an absolute pain.  I get reminder alerts all day long showing upcoming meetings.  This is very frustrating.

 

Please advise a fix
