can you help, my charge 2 vibrates when my phone rings, this is great, but my phone no longer makes a sound. This means if I am charging my fitbit I miss calls as there is no longer a sound from my phone.
I would like both my fitbit to vibrate and my phone to sound when I receive a call, is this possible and if so how.
Thanks

@Slimta Thanks for stopping by! I believed you may have changed some settings on your phone. Which phone do you have? Is it a compatible one? If it is an Android phone then go to the privacy settings and allow your phone to vibrate and notify about new messages and calls, also check the settings about apps and see if the Fitbit app has the appropriate permissions. Your tracker won't affect your phone settings but your phone settings will affect your tracker.
Let me know how it goes!

I have to agree, this is a setting that has changed in your phone. Make the phone was not switched to silent or vibrate, or the phones volume was turned down.
I have an iphone 6s and it vibrates, but no longer rings when I get a call. This happened when I linked my fitbit charge2. All the settings on my phone show it should be ringing. I've checked everything.
I have an iPhone 7 and have just started using a Fitbit Charge 2. I have not touched the phone settings. Fitbit notifications are set to off (I don't want them). My phone no longer rings. I don't want my fitbit managing my phone. Any suggestions?
Many thanks
I have the same issue with my iPhone 6 and my Fitbit Versa. I do not receive any sound, vibrate or light flash when my phone gets a text or call now. I have to open my phone to see when or if some one sent a message or called. My Versa does not always show the message either. I literally have to pick up my phone all the time to check for messages and calls. NOT VERY HANDY. I did a reset, made sure sounds were on, dnd is not on, volume all the way up....nothing works. I am very frustrated since I run a business and I miss important messages and calls frequently. I heard this is a problem with Apple Watch but I have a Fitbit. I don’t understand how to get the sounds and such back on my phone which is where I WANT them.
I would be interested in some help here as well! I am ticked off now. My phone is only useful to make calls now. I never know when I GET a call or text unless I open the phone.

Best AnswerI have the same issue with my iPhone 6 and Fitbit. It drives my girlfriend crazy when I don't answer her calls. I just went to settings on my iPhone, scrolled down to 'sounds', then I turned off "vibrate on silent" and turned on "vibrate on Ring". I hope that fixed my problem. I'll know in the morning when my girlfriend calls ...
Best AnswerMy iPhone 7 had stopped ringing and was just ringing on my fitbit Charge 3. So I did what the OP suggested above went into the phone settings and set it to vibrate on ring. That worked it hasn't been ringing for over a week!
Best AnswerI am using iPhone XS Max. I purchase a new Fitbit and since I synched my phone stopped ringing. Did any one find the solution for this problem??
I have an iPhone xr and the same problem AND I checked my phone settings they are not set incorrectly. I’m thinking of getting rid of my fit bit because of this issue.
Best AnswerI had the same problem but mine was very simple once I found it. There is a mute toggle switch on my iPhone 7 right above the volume buttons. I forgot about it because the protective case I have hides it pretty well.
If there is a line through your ringer symbol when you raise and lower the volume, this is your problem. It’s easy to get toggled by accident.
You likely already checked that but I didn’t so just in case I thought it might help.

Best AnswerHave you tried removing the Fitbit app @Ray0560 and see if the phone rings?
Maybe there is a problem with the app and it needs to be re-installed.
