Quick view not updating-Sync not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Is anyone else having problems with quick view lately?  I manually turn this off each night and turn it on in the morning.  The last couple of weeks trying to turn it off at night I have had problems.  If I try to do it just before bed around 9 or 10 pm it may take 30 - 45 minutes of constantly hitting the sync button to get it to turn off.  If I do it around 6 pm, it turns off fine.  The home screen in the app refreshes fine, but the behind the scenes sync is not functioning normally.

I have turned bluetooth on & off, tried all day sync on & off, and just cannot find a resolution to this.  I think this may have started with the app update.

Last night I kept the quick view off, all day sync on and the quick view did not shut off at all last night and kept waking me up.

Ricardo,

Tonight the sync worked fine.  However, it has been sporadic when it does not sync so I cannot confirm that this has fixed the entire problem until I can say it has worked for a couple of days in a row.

Today I uninstalled the app, restarted the phone, reinstalled the app and also restarted the charge 2.  Since I turn on & off the quick view every day I should know within a couple of days if it continues to sync after going through all those steps.

It has been having issues for 1 to 2 weeks-hard to know exactly when it started since it was sporadic.  I can only assume it started after the update since that happened within the last couple of weeks as well. It did happen most days and mostly at night.  There were nights when it would not sync at all so the quick view would not shut off.  The device is on my dominant hand.  My mobile is an LG K20 and has worked with the Charge 2 the entire time I have had it.

I'll post updates over the next couple of days to see what happens.

Thanks.

I had to hit the sync now button 4 times this morning before it would sync and turn on the quick view.  The dashboard refreshed right away and updated the steps, sleep, etc.  Any items that require a full sync - quick view, reminders, alarms, notifications - seem to take multiple times before the sync works.

It would be so much better if the quick view could be controlled directly on the Charge 2.

Ricardo, sync is still not working normally.  Sometimes it goes through right away and other times I can continue hitting the sync now for an hour and it will not complete.

I get exactly this problem with my Samsung Galaxy S10 (and previously with my S9). It started after the App was updated, along with the firmware, I think. Syncing is not updating the Quickview setting. Like the OP, I turn this off at night and on in the morning. Very annoying. I have to do several syncs to make it work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Before the App upgrade it worked fine. Also, the 'last sync' time/date doesn't show properly.
